Job description

Country Supplier (CAL Ranch/Coastal Farm) is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist with and coordinate multiple Construction Projects as we continue to grow and expand our business. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing schedules, obtaining and reconciling billing information, coordinating vendors, obtaining licensing, and setting up utility services for multiple projects at a time. This position will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Vice President of Operations. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for tracking project status and relaying the information to internal and external teams.
  • Responsible for tracking orders for individual projects.
  • Responsible for setting up utility services with local service providers.
  • Responsible for tracking insurance certificates throughout the project
  • Works closely with VP of Operations and COO to coordinate project roles and responsibilities and ensure the timely completion of all project requirements.
  • Obtains all local business and other licenses and permits.
  • Makes recommendations on improving store opening procedures.
  • Responsible for collecting vendor quotes and processing purchase orders including full tracking up to delivery site.
  • Responsible for collecting and reconciling invoices as they arrive and tracking down invoices that are past due.
  • Facilitate change requests and ensure that all parties are informed of scheduling and budgeting impact.
  • Communicates and distributes project related information to vendors and internal teams.
  • Conducts post project analysis and recommends process improvement solutions.

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years' work experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to interpret and manage project budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet project deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
