Salary: $32-$38/hour (based on experience)
Who You Are
A Project Coordinator or similar administrative role with a minimum 10 years working, preferably, in the consulting industry. An associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or communication is preferred. Additional experience will be considered, and salary will be commensurate.
Knowledgeable: Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure, while producing quality work and maintaining confidentiality. Ability to quickly adapt to a variety of computer-based project management software programs and advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Project, Visio, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat. Proficiency in in establishing programs and operating software, such as Primavera P6 or MS Project would be considered as preferred and advanced qualifications.
Experienced: SharePoint, Deltek Vision, and/or Vantagepoint experience strongly preferred. Experience in the implementation of Earned Value Management based Project Control systems, in accordance with PMO best practices, strongly preferred. Planning and controls experience at a similar level within large multi-disciplinary projects. Previous experience using document control procedures or software, including version tracking, naming conventions, and electronic filing. Previous experience editing - specifically technical editing - would be considered a strong asset.
Interpersonal & Organizational Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills and solid attention to detail. Ability to problem solve and provide solutions. Ability to use resources and to make sound judgements and prioritize projects. Ability to interface with all levels of staff in a fast-paced team- oriented environment. Provide optimal customer service and focus on building relationships and trust amongst staff. Ability to manage time and organizational activities, with the ability to quickly adjust priorities to work effectively with clients and team members. Ability to independently determine workload availability and proactively communicate with project team members to coordinate deliverables

About the Position
The position provides an exciting opportunity for an applicant with a positive "can-do attitude" towards new task and challenges. Specific duties include: (1) support Project and Program Managers by monitor and coordinating project logistics (scheduling meetings, assist with project status reports, subconsultant coordination, invoicing); (2) prepare and format contractual or draft documents and technical reports; (3) contribute to the preparation of accurate project bids, proposals, and estimates; (4) develop/monitor/report on integrated master schedules and feed changes; (5) assist with scheduling/project controls by using scheduling software; (6) maintain internal schedule of tasks, milestones, and QA/QC reviews; (7) monitor and track the performance of project, key milestones, major project communications, and safety requirements; (8) act independently on behalf of the Project Manager while completing project coordination tasks; (9) determine workload availability by proactively communicating to coordinate deliverables, managing time and adjusting priorities; (10) assist professional staff with travel arrangements; (11) office administrative duties for the Portland, Oregan office staff.
