Project Coordinator

Background

Bitro manufactures high-performance LED lighting solutions for signage, wayfinding, and other luminous branded elements. Our Resno & Vecto specialty fabrication units produce low-profile illuminated letters/artwork exclusively using Bitro's LED products.

In a nutshell, your overall function is to help manage projects from the conceptual stage through delivery and beyond, maintaining and building customer relationships in the process. This means taking ownership of projects and offering stellar customer support at every stage of the buying journey. Most of our customers are experiential/environmental designers & fabricators, so having an eye for aesthetics will definitely help.

Responsibility and duties

• Learning about our capabilities well enough to educate & guide customers to the right solutions. This can involve virtual and in-person presentations.
• Maintain and develop B2B customer relationships in conjunction with our Customer Dev team
• Produce timely, accurate quotes based on provided drawings & design intent
• Convert quotes to orders by providing proactive follow-up and support
• Upon order receipt - initiate internal production orders and track production progress to ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery
• After shipment - Follow up with clients for feedback
• Collaborate with all teams at Bitro to ensure project success

Compensation, benefits, and work arrangement

• Annual salary: Starting at $55K
• Health, dental, PTO, and retirement benefits available
• Work hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Certain major holidays off.
• Work will be done in-person at our Hackensack office. Remote and hybrid options are NOT available at this time.

• has customer service experience (especially B2B)
• has effective communication, presentation, and public-speaking skills
• has a working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Google apps (design software a plus)
• is curious, scrappy, and unafraid to ask questions
• actively looks for ways to improve performance and processes
• takes initiative to master their responsibilities and deliver the best possible outcome with the resources available

APPLICATION PROCESS OVERVIEW / WHAT TO EXPECT
We take hiring seriously at Bitro, so candidates can expect to go through one or more rounds of vetting before a decision is made. The process may include some or all of the following:

• Completion of Wonderlic assessment - This has proven to be a key indicator of fit, and is an important factor (one of many) in our screening process.
• Phone or virtual interview
• One or more comprehensive in-person interviews at our Hackensack office
• Reference request/review
• Transcript request/review
• Background check
• The process typically takes around 2-4 weeks to complete as we receive many applications.

Wonderlic Assessment (IMPORTANT)

Applications will not be considered without a completed 3-part Wonderlic assessment. The Wonderlic assessment has proven to be a key indicator of fit, so it's important to complete it in full.

There are 3 sections. The first is the cognitive with problem-solving questions. You may use scrap paper for this section. The best practice is to complete as many questions as you can within the allotted time without getting stuck for too long on any one question. The final two sections are simple survey questions about yourself. It's important to answer as honestly as possible for accurate results. For best results, be sure to take it in an environment where you can concentrate.
