Currently, we are seeking a Project Analyst to join and support the Architectural Operations team.
Position Summary
The Project Analyst will work closely with project managers to collect data for project performance reporting and analysis. This role will collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional results within specified deadlines.Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Start-Up/Lifecycle:
- Coordinate with Project Managers on the collection and entry of project data including client/consultant information, contract fees/budgets, scope, schedules, staffing, size/location, and phasing into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Work with Project Managers and Project Administrators and the Architectural Operations team to open/close projects/phases.
- Develop audit processes for ensuring that data is accurate and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project-Resource Planning:
- Support Project Managers with setup and maintaining their project plans in a timely manner, including updating budgets, phase schedules, staff hours and staffing requests.
- Coordinate with the Architectural Operations team for staffing assignments.
- Project Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Identify and track Project Risks through the Project Risk Log to understand the health of projects and subsequently work with PMs and the Architectural Operations Team to identify solutions.
- Prepare monthly project performance reports utilizing data, related to Contracts/Budgets, Planned Effort, Effort (Labor/Consultant/Expense), Billings/Revenue, Financial Variances, AR, Unbilled WIP, Risks/Issues, and other reporting as requested.
- Create and monitor Project dashboards while ensuring data integrity.
- Schedule and attend monthly project review meetings with Project Managers to discuss project performance and risks/issues, and strategies to promote project financial health.
- 3-5 years experience working as a Project Analyst or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Business Analytics/Management Information Systems (MIS)/Statistics/Operations Management/Project Management or closely related field, or equivalent work experience in project analysis.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills with Microsoft Suite, particularly MS Excel.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills working with Power BI or other BI tools.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as Deltek.
- Exhibits a high attention to detail and takes ownership/responsibility for delivering accurate, high-quality work.
- Communicates effectively verbally and in writing, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external “stakeholders and vendors.
At the time of posting this job, the hiring range for this position in Seattle is between $75,000 and $90,000 annually. Final salary decisions are made based upon the extent and relatedness of the candidate’s education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors.
