Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Marketing leaders and stakeholders in Finance and Accounting to ensure the accurate and timely management of Marketing budget and expense payments.
- Enter and maintain Marketing department budget data in finance systems and other tracking tools.
- Provide necessary reports and documentation for financial reporting.
- Generate and analyze budget reports, providing insights on vendor performance, payment trends and budget forecasting.
- Assist in month-end activities, including oversight of accruals.
- Efficiently and accurately process invoices daily and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely fashion.
- Work with marketing vendors regarding invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries.
- Analyze vendor invoices and expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Prepare Marketing team member expense reports in accordance with company policies and in a timely manner.
Experience & Education
- 3 – 5 years of experience in accounts payable or similar financial role.
- Proficient in using accounting software like SAP and Anaplan as well as MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience in invoice payment and administration.
- Experience in the creation and maintenance of budget reporting.
- Experience maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including finance and accounting.
