Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting for an experienced, Instructional Analyst/Developer, for a 12-month contract assignment supporting the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant near Richland, WA. This onsite role offers a W2 hourly base rate with time and a half for overtime, per diem, and mobilization/demobilization. Our client is targeting $65.00 - $75.00/hour for this role.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Project Overview:
The Hanford Tank Waste Treatment Plant will use vitrification technology to process and solidify radioactive and chemical waste stored at the Hanford site. This position is located 22 miles north of Richland and works a 4x10 schedule, Monday - Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Selected applicant needs to be able and willing to work weekends as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Lead Instructional Analyst with implementing the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT), focusing on job/task analysis, objective/test question design, and content development.
- Ensure the SAT process as prescribed in requirement area procedure is correctly and adequately implemented in the generation of ‘formal’ training products required for compliance with DOE O 426.2.
- Deliver and maintain coursework required for WTCC personnel to perform their duties assigned as Instructional Analyst Developers (IAD’s) to include initial, continuing, and emergent content.
- Analyze training requests (TREQ’s) for actual need of SAT process resolution.
- Perform job / task analysis per the SAT resulting in the creation of, but not limited to:
- Master Task Lists
- DIF surveys
- Task to Training Matrices leading to quality training objectives and training materials (lesson plans, student guides, on the job training guides, computer-based courses, etc.)
- Associated testing tools used to evaluate mastery of knowledge and/or skills
- Conduct other classroom training as requested and knowledgeable.
- Perform data input and manipulation in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Vision.
- Work to a production schedule meeting project and industry standards for material produced.
- Support a strong Nuclear Safety Quality Culture (NSQC) to protect self, others, and the environment.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Training or Education that focuses on instructional analysis, design, development, delivery and testing, as well as evaluation of training programs.
- 6+ years of experience in nuclear facility operations and or maintenance.
- Extensive experience in needs, job, and task analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must have full mobility, be able to walk on uneven or broken surfaces (rocks, gravel, etc.)
- Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using the VISION training content development tool.
- Experience and proficiency using Articulate software.
