RESPONSIBILITIES

• As member of direct services team, provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients.
• Assists the Program Manager in the day-to-day clinical operations of the program, including scheduling staff hours to
ensure appropriate coverage at all times; assist as needed in overseeing daily team and treatment planning meetings;
assist in evaluation of clients to ensure immediate attention to needs.
• Assists as directed in quality assurance activities.
• Provides informal supervision to assigned staff. Successfully functions as a team member.
• Serves in Program Manager capacity in absence of Program Manager.
• Assists as directed in recruiting, assessing, and recommending candidates to fill vacant positions.
• Serves as part of the on-call team, fulfilling all duties of this program component.
• Displays regular and reliable attendance. Reports to and departs from work on time, as scheduled, and accurately reflects
all time on timecard.
• Provides guidance of direct staff in milieu and supports the practice and principles of Assertive Community Treatment,
the FSP model, ICM, and outpatient services.
• Maintains knowledge of best practices by reading appropriate publications, attending seminars, conferences, and other
training, as necessary. Aids in general management of center including running errands as assigned.
• Completes all assigned duties within the time frame and according to the standards as established by the Program
Manager.
• Complies with all MHS and program rules, policies and procedures including HIPPA standards.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional growth by attending in-service trainings and staff development programs and
seeking out supervision when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
• Licensed in State of CA as LCSW, MFT or equivalent preferred.
• Clear understanding of criminal justice involved adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a similar work setting
• Cultural and socio-economic factors that inform service provision to persons with psychiatric, substance use disorder,
and/or dual diagnosis disorders.
• Working knowledge of Forensic Assertive Community Treatment, Full-Service Partnership treatment, Intensive Case
Management, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, and outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
• Plan, prioritize, budget, control and evaluate at a level sufficient to ensure the efficiency, effectiveness, and success of
the program.
• Supervise and manage staff in charting and chart documentation in a legible, timely, organized, and pertinent manner.
SALARY RANGE: $72,800 - $76,960
