The Opportunity
This leadership role provides a rare and exciting opportunity to help meet the needs of the youngest members of our community by developing Hively's Early Childhood mental health program! Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the licensed Mental Health clinician is responsible for providing outpatient therapy to families (parents, guardians and caretakers) and Early Childhood clients aged 0 - 5 at a Hively designated facility and/or site. In this role, you also have the opportunity to work closely with providers and caregivers and help supervise trainees to bring up the next generation of much-needed therapists.

What you'll be doing:
    • Develop, monitor, and implement treatment goals and interventions for all modalities of direct service
    • Perform accurate and timely record keeping and documentation of all client related activities (progress notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries, etc.)
    • Perform case management services according to licensure and scope of practice as needed
    • Provide direct supervision and support for 4-6 Clinical Interns and Trainees as well as provide group supervision
    • Interact with staff and clients in a professional and ethical manner
    • Perform additional job-related duties and responsibilities as requested
What you should bring:
    • Passion for advancing mental health access, availability, and affordability for all
    • Must be licensed with a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy for at least 2 years
    • Preference for at least 1 year of relevant supervisory experience or strong interest in and commitment to supervising trainees and interns
    • Focused experience working specifically with clients aged 0-5 and their parents or caregivers
    • Demonstrated strength in establishing rapport with others as a requisite for healthy and therapeutic relationships
    • Knowledge and foundational skill set in counseling best practices and methods
    • Excellent judgment and ability to effectively evaluate and respond to any competing needs appropriately
    • Demonstrated professional experience handling psychological emergencies and/or crises with clients
    • Effective oral and written communication skills including ability to plan, report activities, and communicate orally both in person and by telephone
    • Some travel to meetings, other campuses and counseling sites may be required
    • Ability to join insurance panels 
    • All mental health employees at Hively are required to have criminal justice clearance 
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
$90,000 - $110,000 a year
Salary ranges are based on industry data, and final employment offer will be determined based upon factors including but not limited to an applicant's experience, specialized skills, and internal alignment.
