Job Summary: The Program Coordinator plans, coordinates, and oversees employees for various programs or projects for Captivate Perspectives. This role is responsible for maintaining budget and records pertaining to the program expenditures, implementing policies and procedures, and organizing the activities and agenda for the program. Duties typically includes assisting with program planning and administration, fiscal, budgetary, and/or other associated transactions, program implementation and administration, internal and external operational/administrative liaison, program marketing, and reporting.
Duties:
- Assists with the planning and coordination of programs and their activities.
- Oversees and manages the daily operations of the organization's programs and services.
- Provides event preparation and execution.
- Works directly with program participants to support their success in training programs.
- Develops and implements program policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
- Monitors and tracks projects and programs
- Creates promotional materials to encourage participation.
- Identifies best practices and procedures to inform future programs.
- Coordinates interactions/relationships between staff, clients, administrators and all other program stakeholders.
- Schedules and organizes meetings/events and maintains agendas.
- Monitors program budgets and financial resources, ensuring adherence to fiscal guidelines.
- Evaluates program effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvement.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintains accurate program documentation and reporting.
- Support growth and program development.
- Creates and maintains program records, reports, presentations and proposals.
- Manages marketing and communications (media relations, social media).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Background Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with individuals with multiple barriers/low income preferred.
- Must have a high level of professionalism and excellent communication skills.
- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders.
- Proven track record in program development and management.
- Excellent administrative skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of education and/or social work principles and practices.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Must own a car for daily use.
- Must be flexible to balance multiple priorities.
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must be willing to work at multiple sites.
