Summary:
The Program Coordinator provides administrative, communications, and logistical support for WCL’s Office of Academic Excellence (OAE) and Diversity, Inclusion and Affinity relations (DIA) programs. The incumbent supports the delivery of OAE and DIA programming and the identification of opportunities for program enhancement.
In addition, the Program Coordinator will help build positive relationships with students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Essential Functions:

Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean of Academic Excellence, the Program Coordinator will provide support in the development and implementation of academic success and bar exam readiness programs and initiatives. This includes:
Support planning and coordination of programs, activities, and events. Creating, monitoring, and analyzing program surveys. Assist with preparation of program materials. Collect and analyze program data; maintain program records and statistical information. Coordinate summer bar exam essay writing and mock bar exam workshops.
Serve as the principal liaison between students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other departments, and external constituencies on day-to-day programmatic, operational, and administrative issues. Draft, manage, and monitor office communications. Assist with creating and managing office processes. Ensure implementation of office policies and practices. Manage social media and digital communications. Oversee the regular updating of the WCL websites for the Office of Academic Excellence.
Research industry standards, trends, and best practices related to law student academic success and bar preparation. Compiles related information for use in refinement of existing and the development of new OAE programming. Assist with reviewing 1L course syllabi and bar exam subjects to identify areas for faculty engagement and program development.
Other administrative tasks as assigned by the Assistant Dean.
Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Diversity, Inclusion and Affinity Relations, the Program Coordinator will provide support in the development and implementation of affinity relations programs and initiatives. This includes:
Serve as the liaison between the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Affinity Relations and all law school affinity organizations. Develop and execute communication strategies with affinity organizations and manage collaborative events and programs.
On behalf of the Office of Diversity, Inclusion on Affinity Relations, serve as the coordinator for collaborative student facing initiatives with the offices of Academic Excellence, Student Affairs, Dean’s Office, Career and Professional Development and Academic Affairs.
Other administrative tasks as assigned by the Assistant Dean.

Salary Range:
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience or leadership role with affinity groups or diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Juris Doctor.
Knowledge of academic and bar exam resources that support law students’ academic performance and bar exam readiness.
Certificate or demonstrated knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusive practices.
Experience in higher education, particularly student affairs.
Experience coordinating events.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Excellent writing, budgeting, event planning, and social media and other communications skills
Must obtain and maintain a thorough knowledge of university policies, procedures, and general information.
Must demonstrate courtesy, composure, and professionalism while managing multiple demands and customers.
Must have working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Drive.
