PeaceHealth is seeking a Program Coordinator Education - Talent Development Support Services for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $24.96 - $37.44. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.
Job Summary
Plans, organizes and coordinates the administrative delivery of a variety of educational programs to meet system and network training needs. Serves as education coordinator for system implementations, special projects, team processes and competency assessment. Manages the communication and coordination of training. Documents training programs and caregiver completion/competency validation in the LMS and trains others to do so. May also design and/or deliver training.
Essential Functions
- Works with other Learning Functions to ensure access to training resources, programs. Assesses training needs of the network and recommends resources and education plans.
- Coordinates multiple and complex education programs and trainings to meet the needs of network and system departments. May include coordination of vendor supplied training.
- Works with Talent Development, network Learning Functions, other system departments and operational leaders to ensure caregiver, provider and leader access to training resources.
- Designs or facilitates programs to ensure caregivers are oriented to their positions.
- Manage and coordinate training logistics and program resources for Learning Functions teams within their network and communities. Supports and orders supplies for the Learning Functions Resources; and coordinates book checkout management.
- Participates on system standardization projects or curriculum design teams.
- Guides internal customers in the optimal LMS set up to accomplish their training project goals and makes recommendations related to the options and suitable learning solutions within the LMS.
- Ensures delivery of educational programs meet PeaceHealth training standards, processes, and templates. Measures and compares results to desired outcomes and objectives. Monitors and measures customer satisfaction provided through appropriate mechanisms to evaluate and implement improvements as needed.
- Documents training in PeaceHealth's Learning Management System using standardized templates, forms and agreements.
- Sets up, completes attendance cycle (enrollment, notification, transfer, attendance) and manages classroom and virtual training in PeaceHealth's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Assesses caregiver and leadership satisfaction and evaluates organizational impact and value.
- Conducts ongoing LMS data audits; exports, sorts and presents reports to share with stakeholders to inform decisions about instructional strategies, support needs, and planning.
- Coordinates new caregiver orientation for all Learning Functions. Participates in process improvement to ensure new caregivers feel welcomed and prepared for their PeaceHealth journey.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Associate Degree or combination of education and experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in program coordination and customer service experience with web-based and other educational technologies or training systems preferred.
- Training or experience with adult learning and/or instructional design.
Skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and a variety of education technology methodologies.
- Additional training or certification desired in areas such as human performance technology, improvement, or management; process improvement; adult learning; instructional design; competency models; data collection and analysis tools; and customer needs assessments.
Working Conditions
- Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Sedentary work.
- Predominantly operates in an office environment.
- Some time spent on site in medical/hospital setting.
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
