This position plans, promotes, delivers, supports, and improves Court Education Programs for internal and external customers throughout the Washington State court community. The position assists and coordinates the work, on an assigned team, to deliver Education Programs and acts as a senior court educator.
Reporting to the Court Education Services (CES) Manager, this position is an expert level professional who works independently, with general direction from the CES Manager, and exercises expert judgment and decision making within the scope of projects and responsibilities as defined by the CES Manager.

- Under the direction of the CES Manager, this position is delegated as a lead on an assigned team of Court Education service providers, to assist the CES Manager and team in the overall coordination of Education Programs and services.
- Works closely with the CES Manager and other Court Education Coordinators to synchronize efficient and effective delivery of Court Education Programs and services.
- Co-hosts, with the CES Manager, recurring team meetings .
- While not having direct reports, this position assists the CES Manager by coordinating tasks of team members in assigned area of responsibility.
- Works with team members, internal and external stakeholders, and subject matter experts to design and develop educational programs/services and manage the implementation of in-person, online, and hybrid educational events and activities (e.g., conferences, sessions, workshops, eLearning, demos, tutorials, webinars, etc.).
- Assists the CES manager to identify Legislative impacts.
- Conducts needs assessments to determine requirements in collaboration with internal and external customers.
- Manages, maintains, and sets standards and best practices for workflows, processes, procedures, tools, resources, and support materials related to assigned area of responsibility.
- Monitors the quality of work of team members in assigned area of responsibility, and reports to the CES Manager.
- Assesses team needs and makes recommendations to the CES Manager.
- Assists the CES manager to prioritize customer requests and team's work loads.
- Monitoring team quality of work and reports to the CES manager.
- Communicates clearly, timely, and professionally, and ensures the CES Manager is included as appropriate.
- Assigned to the Education Programs team, the Court Education Program Coordinator is responsible for:
- Recommending, to the CES manager, court educator committee assignments.
- Monitoring and tracking progress of committee curriculum planning.
- Researching best practices for session operations and activities.
- Coaching court educators on best practices for curriculum development.
- Reviewing curriculum and schemas for quality assurance.
- Training faculty/presenters on presentation best practices.
- Managing event education during conferences.
- Evaluating customers perceptions to determine improvements.
- Acting as a lead educator on committees as needed.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, or closely related field;
AND
- Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in adult education.
Must be willing to travel. This position requires periodic travel to support programs in various parts of the state for up to one week at a time.
