We are currently looking for Scheduling Coordinator to join our 1st shift!

This position will be responsible for but not limited to:

Role Purpose / Position Summary

The Scheduling Coordinators provide administrative support to the Warehouse Team and will be responsible for scheduling/rescheduling orders. Order processing receiving documents and initiate logging process, process all documents in accordance with requirements, coordinate cargo availability and arrange pickup and delivery, and distribute documents as required.

Shipment Status reporting: Review daily calendar and confirm orders ready for next day.

Key Accountabilities / Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Receive documents and initiate logging process, process all documents in accordance with requirements, coordinate cargo availability and arrange pickup and delivery, and distribute documents as required.
• Shipment Status reporting: Review daily calendar and confirm orders ready for next day.
• Will Call: Assist individuals who come to pick up will call orders.
• Answer phone as needed.
• Continuous communication with customers, vendors, and coworkers concerning shipments, via phone and email.
• Company transportation management system (TMS) to be updated with complete information on the shipment.
• Maintaining documentation, relevant email attachments in company TMS.
• Assist Last Mile in various administrative functions and local support.
• Create paperwork, BOLs, packing lists, documents for orders.
• Communicate with carriers and customers to schedule shipment pick-ups and to provide shipment status.
• This position works within the established policies and procedures.
• Schedule transfer of materials between facilities and outside warehousing.

• Wages at $24.35 per hour with an annual increase possible.

• Previous Dispatching 6 months to 1 year experience required.
• Must be detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Multi-tasker
• Be able to prioritize duties.
• Data Entry
• Excel required
• Looking for people with material handling equipment experience a plus
• Multi-taskers that work with a sense of urgency

Role Purpose:

Develop the daily activities of the kitting department. Use input from the customer on kitting priorities, the backlog report, what kitting components are available, and the current line capacity to develop the weekly schedule. Additional duties such as publishing daily status updates on current projects and adding new projects to the weekly schedule.

Key Accountabilities:

• Schedule the kitting activities in order to fulfill the customer demand.
• Communicate daily with customer to understand kitting priorities.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
