Production Manager

• To oversee the daily departmental production.
• Ensure that company objectives are met with regards to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery.

• Create and monitor division objectives
• Monitor and evaluate material usage
• Minimize division scrap and waste
• Evaluate and optimize O.E.E.
• Monitor and minimize division downtime
• Create and monitor division expenses, capital, manpower, and overtime budgets
• Assist Engineering with developing operations and capacity requirements
• Support APQP activities
• Support activities and benchmarking items
• Support customer meetings and activities
• Ensure adherence to the Quality System
• Provide support for customer concerns
• Ensure adherence to the Environmental System
• Ensure division performance meets company objectives
• Monitor and evaluate division training requirements
• Evaluate associate performance and provide feedback
• Provide support for department meetings
• Ensure clear communication paths for associates
• Support Company associates programs
• Support production line Kaizen activity
• Ensure there is continuous improvement in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Morale, & 6S activities.

• Knowledge in plastics or related plastic fields
• Knowledge of assembly processes

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field.

• Must be able to work long hours and be available to work all shifts

• Must have an in depth knowledge of QAD, Excel, PowerPoint, Databases

• Good oral and written skills.
• Must be organized and familiar with scheduling processes.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct employees.
• Must be self motivated.
