Kyungshin America Corp., a Hyundai distribution company located near Savannah, GA, is seeking an Assistant Production Control Manager. This position will collaborate with the Production Control Manager to oversee the planning and coordinating of production schedules to meet customer demand. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing processes.
• Investigate issues on the floor by completing a root cause analysis and make a recommendation for improvement.
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with procurement to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Direct and assign daily work schedules, assignments, tasks, and duties.
• Supervise and lead a team of Production Control Specialists; to include assisting with necessary documentation, such as status changes, time-off requests, and performance evaluations.
• Analyze production data and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement and maintain Production Control procedures and policies.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production-related issues.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling.
• Proficient in using ERP systems and production planning software.
• Proven success in driving continuous improvement by promoting the use of root cause problem-solving, valuing new ideas, and inspiring others.
• Proven success in building partnerships, influencing others, and communicating effectively both in verbal and written form, seeking diverse perspectives, and strong emotional intelligence to enable cross functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience Required:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• 5 years of supervisory experience required.
• At least 2 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in global manufacturing preferred.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
