The Production and Inventory Control Manager, Atlanta is responsible for planning, controlling, and coordinating all aspects of the Atlanta site’s supply chain including production scheduling, production, quality, engineering change implementation, Inventory Controls, and outbound shipping. In this role, the Production and Inventory Control Manager will develop, implement, and execute supply chain strategies and processes for efficient operations that ensures efficient inventory movement, accurate inventory reporting, maximized production throughput, and minimized risk while supporting the company aggressive revenue growth. The Production and Inventory Control Manager establishes priorities and supervises personnel activities to ensure the achievement of customer and business commitments.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Inventory Control and production teams consisting of six employees located at Haivision Atlanta production site.
Provide inspiring and effective leadership to the Inventory Control and production teams with a focus on meeting the organization’s objectives with respect to revenue, quality, cost, timeliness, and compliance.
Responsible for the overall production, capacity, Inventory Control, and scheduling activities to maximize schedule adherence, customer service, revenue recognition, and on-time delivery.
Establish and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and processes that support Inventory Control, production, ECO implementation, capacity planning and production scheduling.
Responsible for a formalized inventory cycle count control system to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining and aligning company policies with health and safety regulations.
Measures and evaluates direct reporting employee performance according to company standards for quality and productivity. Provides accurate, meaningful, and timely reviews.
Analyze costs across many different areas of the supply chain to find ways to reduce costs.
Develop and implement supply chain best practices to continuously improve current business processes.
Develop, implement, and maintain KPI metrics to measure the performance of the Supply Chain.
Perform additional related duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a Supply Chain role, ideally in a high-tech environment.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to manage and engage employees.
Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to organizational policies.
Knowledge of Supply Chain management disciplines such as production scheduling, Inventory Controls and cost management.
Relevant experience with ERP and CRM systems
Analytical thinker, problem solver, and possess a keen sense of customer focus.
High-level of autonomy and professionalism with ability to act on own initiative, exercise good judgment and manage expectations.
Ability to interact at the highest levels of the company.
