Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Product Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and optimizing our S&OP processes and tools. As the S&OP Product Manager, you will collaborate with the various entities of The Coca-Cola System to enhance System Supply Chain planning processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in successfully driving S&OP initiatives.

This position will also be expected to build a team of high-performing S&OP leaders to support the S&OP processes

What You'll Do For Us:

S&OP Process Design & Optimization:

  • Maintain knowledge of planning processes, methodologies, metrics, analytics, and expertise in the practical application of effective planning practices
  • Evaluate and refine the existing S&OP processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in demand and supply planning, new product planning, supply chain visibility, and inventory management.
  • Analyze and document planning process steps, process flow, process cadence, stakeholder participation across functional areas,
  • Develop methods, content, and routines to accomplish financial/ strategic integration with S&OP processes.
  • Maintain and improve process content including meeting content, data visualizations, metrics/performance indicators, scorecards/dashboards, and other process templates
  • Analyze and evaluate planning-related data structures, data models, calculations, supply and demand planning methodologies, exception management measures, and performance metrics
  • Assess the application of enabling technology, including planning applications, collaboration tools, and business intelligence within planning processes

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Develop and sustain strategic collaboration routines with Operating units, Bottling partners, CPS, and third parties to align with business and supply chain plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other relevant departments to gather input, align objectives, and build consensus on S&OP strategies.
  • Foster a collaborative culture to ensure effective communication and coordination among different teams involved in the S&OP process.

Technology Solutions Management:

  • Oversee the implementation and enhancement of S&OP software tools to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
  • Responsible for the development and continuous refinement of S&OP product roadmap.
  • Work closely with Data and Technology services teams to ensure seamless integration of S&OP tools with other enterprise systems.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize data analytics to assess historical performance, analyze trends, and make informed recommendations for future S&OP strategies.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key S&OP metrics.

Forecasting and Demand Planning:

  • Lead efforts to enhance demand forecasting methodology to improve accuracy through the incorporation of advanced modeling, segmented strategies for planning, market intelligence, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Implement strategies to analyze and address demand variability, and work with stakeholders to align production plans and inventory management accordingly.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains within the S&OP process.
  • Implement feedback loops to capture insights from key stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned into future planning cycles.
  • Maintain and facilitate process health assessments and improvement recommendations to S&OP process owners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in S&OP, demand and/or supply planning, and supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Experience in selecting and implementing S&OP and/or planning software solutions.
  • Familiarity with industry-leading practices and emerging trends in S&OP.
