We have an exciting opportunity for eager individuals with a solid work history who want to grow with a company. Phoenix Direct has openings for a Production Assistant, Decoration Services. This position will require high attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently while minimizing errors.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Under the general direction of the Program Manager, the Production Assistant is responsible for ensuring that orders flow through the decoration process. The Production Assistant will be responsible for unbagging garments, preparing them for decoration, trimming, folding, and bagging garments when production is complete.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Unbag garments in preparation for decoration.
• Trim, clean, and otherwise finish decorated garments to give them a professional look.
• Fold & bag completed garments to make them retail-ready.
• Box & ship completed orders.
• Generally assist decorators with order set up/take down.
• Inspect and compare product with work orders.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Apparel knowledge & luxury brand experience, specifically in Golf, Licensed or other embellishment focused industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with embroidery/heat seal/decorating services planning and operations.
• Effective and proactive communication abilities.
• High commitment level to service excellence.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Mobility within the office including movement from one end of the building to the other.
• Access information using a computer.
• Ability to lift up the following:Continuously lift up to 10 pounds

Occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Rarely lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to operate machinery with pinch/cut points.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist.
• Ability to use hands, wrists, arms and shoulders in repetitious movements, including grasping and squeezing.
• Ability to reach below, above, and at shoulder level.
• Continuous standing and walking on even surfaces for an 8-hour day.

Vision required: Depth, less than 20 inches, color and peripheral.
