Job description

Redbrick and Delivra are headquartered on the traditional Coast Salish territory, and we respectfully acknowledge the Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ People of this region. With gratitude, we live, work, and care for this beautiful land.

One thing that our team members say they value most is our fun and truly ‘people-first’ culture. Ours is a place where you’re given the autonomy to do your best work and provided with all the tools and support you need to do so. Here are some of the things our team loves most about working at Redbrick:

  • Highly competitive salary
  • Attractive vacation, healthcare & benefits, including generous RRSP matching (Canada) and 401k (US)
  • ‘People-first’ culture that prioritizes fun
  • Autonomy and freedom to do your best work on your own terms (you won’t find any micromanagers here!)
  • Flexibility to work remotely
  • State-of-the-art and centrally located offices (Victoria & Minneapolis)
  • Remote work fund to create a successful home working setup
  • Opportunities to work on interesting products
  • High-end hardware and equipment — in the office and at home
  • Opportunities to learn and grow through professional development support, funding, and mentorship
  • Internal mobility; opportunity to work with various products and teams across the Redbrick portfolio of companies
  • Monthly fitness reimbursements to support a healthy and active lifestyle

Redbrick is a parent organization with a mission to build, acquire, and scale companies that empower digital entrepreneurs. Headquartered in Victoria, British Columbia, we’ve scaled from local start-up to global name in a few short years, conceptualizing new business ideas, acquiring established companies, and growing them to super-scaled profitability — all thanks to the people we hire.

One of five four portfolio companies, Delivra is an email marketing automation platform. Delivra supports marketers and entrepreneurs, helping them engage with their customers and create meaningful interactions. With an incredible 17-person team working collaboratively, putting our customers first and loving the work we do along the way.

What does a day look like in my role?

As a Product Marketer at Delivra, you are pivotal to shaping our go-to-market efforts. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, your role includes both strategic planning with hands-on execution—encompassing conducting consumer and market research to refine our messaging and positioning, alongside leading the creation of sales enablement materials and managing product launches. Your contributions are crucial in ensuring our strategies resonate deeply with our target audience, directly influencing our market presence and success.

  • Our Delivra team is a remote-friendly company and not limited by location, whether you are located in Canada or the US, please apply!

We get it: You want to know what you’re signing up for before you apply, right? This is what you need to know: As a Product Marketer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Lead the creation of sales enablement materials, such as case studies, product datasheets, and one-pagers, to empower the sales team with essential tools for success.
  • Plan and execute product launches and feature release campaigns, targeting both existing customers and new prospects, to maximize reach and impact.
  • Partner closely with the Director of Marketing to develop and refine product messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audience.
  • Conduct in-depth market research including consumer interviews and competitor analyses.
  • Collaborate on the planning and execution of a content marketing strategy that aligns with Delivra’s goals, ensuring consistent and engaging content across blogs, email campaigns, websites, and sales collateral.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns that enhance lead generation and elevate brand awareness.
  • Coordinate with the shared creative team for large-scale marketing and creative projects.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure Delivra’s marketing strategy remains relevant and competitive.

After 1 month

  • You have been onboarded with the marketing team and have a sense of how you will fit within the team and organization.
  • You understand the Delivra product in its current form, and where it is headed.
  • You’ve reviewed current content strategies, tools, and ongoing projects.
  • You’ve taken ownership of sales enablement materials and begun content creation.

After 6 months

  • You feel confident in your role and have made a strong impact on the company and its goals for the Delivra brand.
  • You have demonstrated measurable success in lead qualification and sales engagement.
  • You have made substantial progress on the market positioning plan for 2024, and have made it your own.

What we would like to see in you.

Every Redbricker has three things in common: We’re curious, hungry, and good-humoured. We try our best to balance hard work with good, old-fashioned fun. As a Product Marketer with Delivra, there are extra specialties we’re on the lookout for:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing, ideally within a SaaS or Martech environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with a proven track record in product marketing.
  • Demonstrable experience in market research, consumer interviews and a data-driven approach to content strategy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing compelling content across various platforms.
  • Experience in orchestrating product launches and marketing campaigns, with a flair for creativity and strategic thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a history of effective communication and collaborative success.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, managing diverse projects with precision.
  • Experience working with AI and ChatGPT to enhance the quality of your work.
  • Innovative and analytical mindset, with a demonstrated ability to merge creativity with data-driven strategies.

What next?

If you’re picking up what we’re putting down, applying is easy as 1, 2, 3.

  • Apply with your cover letter, resume and links to your portfolio/website.
  • Please provide 2-3 samples of sales enablement materials you have personally written.
  • Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, and Instagram for all that is happening and Redbrick and Delivra!
