Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Rework Area operators ensure company and customer quality standards are being met. The work under the supervision of the Production manager/ Supervisor where they sort and rework parts for production.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Liaison with QA department regarding quality issues & counter measures
• Lead person for in-house sorts, containment of quality issues
• Assist with quality issues in other plants
• Confirming/maintaining all document control

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:

• Able to use a hand held tools (air grinder)
• JDE experience / hold transfers (not necessary)
•   Inspection knowledge
• Lift up to 10-30 lbs. repeatedly if necessary
• Able to sit, kneel, squat or bend, for long lengths of times
• Able to walk and/or stand for extended periods of time
• Experience with gauging instruments
• Excellent verbal & written communications skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Capable of learning various software
• High School Diploma
