Building and Grounds Worker

Perry Foam Products, Inc is a leading manufacturer of molded foam products, with multiple Fortune 500 customers. We are seeking a Building and Grounds Worker to monitor and maintain a clean working environment in our facility.

Role Summary:

This role will help perform basic tooling and building tasks in conjunction with our Operations, Quality, and Maintenance teams. This position is expected to follow standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

· Organize and maintain tools used in production

· Implement 5S/Organization projects in production

· Maintain Building and Grounds, as needed

· Perform miscellaneous janitorial and handy work, as needed

· Perform basic material handling, as needed

· Support other business units, as needed

Qualifications:

· Experience in a mechanical role/manufacturing experience preferred

· Strong personal organizational skills

· Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely decisions

· Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and inventory management principles

· Ability to work under deadlines

· Ability to goal set and reach goals timely

· Ability to identify and communicate issues

· Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills

· Satisfactory computer and Excel skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
