Bottomline is seeking a Product Manager to be part of the large and growing Paymode-X Product Management team!
Paymode-X is one of the largest and fastest-growing business payment networks. Paymode-X solves payment and invoice automation challenges for hundreds of thousands of companies, processing billions of dollars per year and keeping our customers safe.
This position will be 100% remote
How you will contribute:
- You will be part of driving the continued growth of a best-in-class, modern enterprise cloud application.
- You will be working with internal and/or external customers to understand their needs and formulating requirements based on those needs.
- You will be working with a scrum team of technical resources to help them understand the business requirements, and supporting that team as they turn those requirements into technology solutions.
- You will engage with the users of the solutions to train those users.
- You will increase your experience with, and knowledge of, the fintech ecosystem.
Skills and attributes that will help you succeed:
- A strong sense of curiosity is critical! What are our customers' needs? How can we surprise and delight them? How does the Paymode-X ecosystem work today? How does your work contribute to enhancing that ecosystem for market success? Your interest in learning and problem-solving will help you succeed in Product Management at Paymode-X.
- You must have good communication skills. Your success will pivot on your ability to listen effectively and synthesize business requirements. The scrum team you are working with will depend on you to convey the business requirements, and the organization will rely on you to explain what the team has built, how to use it, and how it can help us succeed in market.
- You must demonstrate leadership skills. This is an individual contributor role, but you will be working with a scrum team of technical resources, and must being able to inspire and guide that team as they turn those requirements into technology deliveries.
- You do not need to have previous experience as a Product Manager, business analyst or business systems analyst, but those skills could serve you well.
- You must be comfortable with technology and computing concepts. This is not a technical engineering role but you will be working closely with a technology team in an organization that develops complex business software.
- Experience working with SaaS solutions in a B2B environment will be very helpful. Payment system experience, accounts payable experience, and/or ERP system experience is preferred.
- Experience with using Scrum Agile as part of a software delivery lifecycle will be very helpful.
