Senior Principal, Global Product Marketing
OVERVIEW:
We seek a dynamic and experienced Product Marketer to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the market perception of our solutions, translating them into value propositions that directly address the needs of our various customer personas. With a deep understanding of our target market, whitespace opportunities, and the competitive landscape, the Senior Principal Product Marketer will collaborate with marketing counterparts to develop and execute marketing programs that drive product awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in understanding customers, and a successful track record in SaaS Product Marketing.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:
- Develop differentiated solution positioning and messaging that aligns with the organization's positioning, focusing on crucial buyer personas.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities, and leverage these insights to inform strategy, sales initiatives, product roadmaps, marketing campaigns, and pricing and packaging decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective product messaging across all platforms and customer touchpoints.
- Work closely with product management, sales, marketing, and sales enablement teams to develop and implement product or feature updates launch plans.
- Partner with Analyst Relations to cultivate and maintain relationships with key analyst firms within the learning and technology space.
- Conduct ongoing persona research to keep our strategies current and effective and collaborate with internal teams to ensure our marketing efforts align with the needs and preferences of our various customer personas.
- Foster cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders, including product management, sales, marketing, and executive leadership.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing or product management (SaaS marketing experience a plus).
- Strong understanding of how to conduct market, industry, and competitive research
- Passionate about "doing right by the customer."
- Ability to partner with and communicate effectively to sale & success, and product management
- A collaborative, creative, open-minded attitude
- An affinity for thriving in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects, initiatives to stay on strategy, on time, and on budget
- Pragmatic certified or willingness to become certified
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and patience
Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be approximately $120K - $175K annually.
We also offer full benefits.
The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
