Introduction
We are seeking someone who is humble, collaborative, and highly team-oriented. This role will be responsible for product strategy, process improvement, design, alignment with engineering, and direct team management. Responsibilities and required experience:
Job Responsibilities
- Works cross-functionally with proven ability to effectively collaborate and communicate across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Legal, and Finance
- Manages product managers of all levels (junior through principal) directly including coaching, mentoring, regular feedback, and development plans
- 10+ years of experience in SaaS Product Management/Product Strategy
- 5+ years experience managing team(s) of product managers
- Leadership of product at a high-growth SaaS company
- Passion for data analysis and ability to distill into actionable insights
- High level of attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects at once across a suite of products
- Able to identify and develop solutions to complex problems from a strategic and operational perspective
- Develops and implements product-oriented strategies and processes that set a high bar for product quality and customer experience
- Drives team members to work closely with Engineering, Design, and other partners to develop solutions and execute in a timely and quality manner
- Clearly articulates vision, strategy, and how it drives customer value
- Translates broad company strategies into specific priorities and objectives with quantifiable key results (OKRs) for the team
- Is keen on industry trends and establishes relationships and partnerships in our space
- Drives team to execute and learn/pivot based on user feedback and data including implementation and monitoring of dashboards that track the right metrics for meaningful insights
- Actively participates in and takes lead of initiatives to improve how we operate as a product organization
- Handles conflict and difficult conversations directly and with professionalism, setting an example and high bar as a leader
- Is a visible internal and external spokesperson for the product including presentations, demos, customer calls, and speaking engagements
- Nurtures a culture of inclusion and empathy
- Gives and receives candid feedback
- Leads team members through change, makes difficult decisions and trade-offs, and takes ownership to solve problems
- Effectively manages resources and budgets for team and products
Knowledge and Experience
8+ years experience building and managing SaaS software products, preferrable in Commerce, Content, Payments, Retail,or Marketing
Education
Bachelors in a relevant field or addition commensurate experience
MBA preferred
Pragmatic Framework or comparable Product Management training preferred
