School Health Corporation, the leading provider of health supplies to schools across the US, seeks an Entry Level Product Manager Associate. The School Health Product Management Associate is responsible for supporting the assigned product manager(s) and aligned categories with responsibilities including: product/vendor selection and marketing support, managing of new item add process and item maintenance, taking on a subject matter expert role with the item maintenance systems, assisting in strategy development and providing analytical and reporting insight into assigned categories. The Product Management Associate will work to understand the industry and its dynamics with respect to their product lines, the customer/market needs and the competition to help develop and implement a product portfolio which will achieve the desired goals of the business.
Principal Duties:
- Manages the new vendor and item addition process for assigned categories. Will work with product manager to complete the onboarding process for new vendors as well as adding all items into our systems and on to our website.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining product information in product categories
- Understand the industry and its dynamics with respect to assigned product lines, the customer, market needs, and the competition, to aid in the development of product portfolio strategies that will achieve the assigned business goals
- Assists product managers in completing daily tasks such as;
- Complete cases/tasks assigned in Salesforce
- Reporting support as needed
- Interacting with customers, internal partners and vendors
- Merchandising catalogs and websites
- Works with vendors to resolve cost/price discrepancies
- Support internal and external sales team requests for assigned categories
- Support Contract Sales team in completing pricing requests for customers
- Support Sourcing Associate during busy times to help source products that are not in our standard assortment.
- Support functions associated with launching new products, packaging, sales literature, internal and external publications, as well as training and sales presentation materials
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is plus
- Associate Degree preferred
