The WM Associate Fee Product Manager is responsible for assisting with the business unit fee strategy and helping to drive the transformation and institutionalization of those strategies. This is a highly visible and collaborative function, working with BU leadership and Finance. The Associate Fee Product Manager will help design and lead numerous enhancement projects aimed at enabling partners to efficiently and effectively manage fees for our clients and liaise with operations and technology groups to optimize the technology and business processes. This role will also assist with the review and application of current fee policies and associated governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess partner tool simplification and integration opportunities; collaborate with Fee Operations and other groups to optimize business processes.
- SME for fee operations/technology updates (i.e. FEM, Fee +, etc.)
- Business lead on Fee related initiatives (Fee Repricing, Global Fee Billing, etc.)
- Assists with representing WM interests and needs to the enterprise and helps to serve as a central communication/ escalation point on operations/ IT initiatives andissues
- Ensure governance, policies and procedures are relevant and applicable to current business practices and risk management priorities
- Collaborate with WM Finance on reporting & analytics; ensure visibility into key metrics used in management decision making
- Develop scalable process for periodic fee reviews
Skills/Experience:
- 5-7 + years experience in product management, strategy, or strategic program management
- Understanding of the Wealth Management business
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change
- Ability to build relationships with senior leadership and partners across the Wealth Management footprint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to craft and deliver data driven recommendations
- Program or project management experience is advantageous; experience with technology transformations
- Solid Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Bachelor degree required, and advanced degree (e.g. MBA) and/or related industry qualification is preferred
