Job Title: Procurement and Estimation Specialist – Immediate Hire

Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to fill the role of Procurement and Estimation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing and purchasing hardware, software, and other IT-related equipment, as well as generating accurate and timely project estimates for our clients. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Strong understanding of hardware, software and licensing is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement:
· Source and procure hardware, software, and other IT equipment from various vendors while maintaining competitive pricing and quality standards.
· Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements for the company.
· Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor communications.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of procurement requests and manage inventory levels effectively.
Estimation:
· Collaborate with sales and technical teams to gather requirements and scope of work for client projects.
· Develop detailed project estimates based on client requirements, including labor, materials, and other resources.
· Ensure that project estimates are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with company pricing guidelines and profitability targets.
Vendor Management:
· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
· Monitor vendor performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise in a timely manner.
· Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in procurement, estimation, or a similar role within the IT industry preferred.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software/tools is a plus. QuickBooks and ConnectWise Manage experience is a plus.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
The Pay and Benefits:
· Hourly Pay, $18 to $23 per hour based on experience
