Procurement Specialist

IAA , an RB Global, Inc. Company is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our corporate team. This will be a remote position.

The Procurement Specialist will focus on driving savings and assisting the procurement team in managing category performance of several indirect categories, including, but not limited to: Purchasing Card, Corporate Services and the Travel Program. The Procurement Analyst will be instrumental in supporting the Procurement department with spend analytics and reporting and setting up and managing the P2P system. Key activities include: analytics, reporting, compliance monitoring and strong communication skills

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):

• Assist the Senior Procurement Manager is driving savings and managing indirect categories; this includes providing analytics and reviewing compliance and monitoring of programs
• Responsible for providing analysis and assisting in developing category baselines for the procurement department; this includes driving and creating dashboard reporting and supporting information to improve processes and drive savings
• Assist in developing monitoring programs to ensure implementation strategies are measurable and successful
• Support and maintain Procurement policies and processes
• Assist in reviewing contracts with vendors including SOW’s, MSA’s and addendums
• Cross functionally operate with legal, finance and operations to ensure IAA policies and best practices are followed
• Identify and drive continuous improvement processes and reporting
• Assists in evaluating vendors and works to reduce vendor risk by developing scorecards and analyzing vendor performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Operations or related field required or without a degree, 3 additional years of relative experience above the required years
• Makes decisions with integrity that align with organizations code of conduct and financial best interest
• Experience in analytics and business acumen
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong administrative skills
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Indirect strategic sourcing experience (preferred)

Preferred Skills:

• Three years of full-time experience in indirect procurement analytics, company expense analysis and strategic sourcing activities for an organization (public or private)
• Experience with procurement and vendor management systems, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Source-to-Pay (S2P), and Spend Analytics
