Procurement Administrative Assistant Job Description:
The Procurement Administrative Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to, ordering parts, keeping an organized inventory control for the departments and processing all purchases. Input all purchase orders in the ABM procurement systems. Inventory control and maintain compliance with company record keeping policies. This position reports to the Office Manager and provides additional support to the account staff and management, as needed.
Essential Duties:
- Purchase supplies and materials for the operation.
- Process revenue information.
- Filing appropriate paperwork.
- Data entry as needed.
- Answer phones and general office duties as required, other duties as assigned.
- Maintain files and prepares daily reports.
- Assist the Office Manager with administrative duties.
Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings.
Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of accounting software; CMMS and inventory software; Spreadsheet and analytics software such as Excel, Word Processing and Accounting software experience is required.
