Perform all tasks appropriate to role, creating and maintaining enterprise test architecture, promoting best testing practices, test strategy and leadership as required. Responsible for the security, quality, efficiency and coverage of testing activities across organization. Provide direct input into the on-going improvement of standards and processes. Incorporate innovative ideas and approaches to test development and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot automated test framework.
Continuously optimize the existing automation code (test coverage & efficiency).
Simplifying coding patterns in such a way that can be consumable by all skill sets.
Prototype best approach/design for the new initiatives and provide sample to the project team to increase automation coverage and reduce manual effort.
Active Membership in QA/Development professional group.
Monitor industry standards in new technology and tools.
Monitor testing activities across organization and identify area of improvement.
Debug and troubleshoot the application code.
Mentor peers and work with management to improve overall organization's testing performance.
Create, maintain, and present test metrics to stakeholders.
Create, maintain, and promote consistent testing standards and patterns.
Support all teams by knowledge sharing, code reviews and improving skill sets.
Demonstrate leadership abilities across the organization.
Facilitate cross team testing meetings.
Proactive feedback and suggestion in cross team reviews.
Provide testing effort estimation.
Minimum Requirements
8 years of software Quality Assurance testing or other related IT experience required.
Critical Skills
- Enterprise testing strategy development.
- Design and implement automated test framework.
- Create and monitor testing metrics.

- Object oriented programming.
- SQL Scripting.
- Selenium WebDriver, QTP, SoapUI, Postman etc.
- Designing and executing performance testing.
- Web APIs test automation.
- Mobile test automation.
- Leadership across the organization.
- Agile processes and story sizing.
- Communicate effectively with Business Stakeholders and Leadership.
- Databases (Oracle or MS SQL Server) and related SQL tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Software configuration management skills desired.
- Fluent in SQL for data validation.
- Continuous integration and deployment knowledge is a plus.

Education
4-year degree in Computer Science or related field of study, or 10 years of software Quality Assurance testing experience.
