Responsibilities
We are seeking a senior Quality Assurance engineer with automation experience to join our team to support our federal clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform through comprehensive testing strategies, building and enhancing test automation frameworks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products through software testing principles, test automation, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing complex data management systems, proficiency in cloud (preferably Azure) technologies, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies. Experience in data and analytics, application development or related experience is preferred. Relevant testing, data, cloud and Agile certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on system requirements.
• Automation Testing: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for both functional and performance testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Data Testing: Conduct thorough testing of data exchange processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data flows.
• Azure Integration: Leverage expertise in Azure technologies to test and validate the integration of our Data Exchange Platform with Azure services.
• Regression Testing: Implement regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
• Collaborate with Development and Product Teams: Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, providing timely feedback.
• Agile Methodologies: Contribute to an Agile development environment by actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Be an integral part of a scrum team participating in the full software development lifecycle including requirements, solution design, development, QA, implementation.
• Develop, modernize, and make enhancements to an existing application or new enterprise microservice application.
• Write automated unit test cases to support test driven development (TDD).
• Create new or maintain existing CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify the testable requirements and prepare the test strategy for each of the testing types identified.
• Write comprehensive test plans for functional, regression, acceptance, and stress testing.
• Perform Functional, regression, performance test execution.
• Perform application and security code scans and support the remediation of scan findings.
• Design and develop automated test scripts for Regression testing.
• Perform production verification after software install.
• Assist in post-production support-such as end-users support; troubleshooting of issues on relevant production like environments.
• Contribute to daily stand-up meetings and sprint retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Azure technologies and services.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 + years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role testing data platforms.
• Clearance: Eligible to obtain a public trust clearance
