Description:
As a Finch AIAssociate Quality Assurance Engineer, you join a dynamic team playing a vital role testing our flagship products. You will provide insight into product quality inside and out, working closely with product managers, developers, and customer support to provide great products to our clients. You will be working with cutting edge proprietary technologies in high performance computing and semantic systems. We are particularly interested in test automation so you will employ scripting and programming skills as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team, providing Agile testing.
- Design, execute and maintain test cases, and automate as much as possible.
- Improve testing infrastructure, software and hardware configurations.
- Maintain stable and consistent testing environment.
- Establish performance, stability and scalability benchmarks.
- Troubleshoot failing test cases.
- Support client feedback and data quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with field engineers on pre- and post-sales deployment.
- Write comprehensive test plans for functional, regression, acceptance, and stress testing.
- Perform Functional, Regression, and Performance test execution.
- Design and develop automated test scripts for Regression testing.
- Conduct and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with customer business owners.
- Assist in post-production support-such as end-user support; troubleshooting of issues on relevant production-like environments.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as an automation tester, testing software or web applications.
- Proficient in developing test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex custom applications
- Hands-on experience with QA methodologies and automation testing tools, ReadyAPI, Postman, Selenium, Jira.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience working in an AWS cloud-based environment and web version of app's, HTML, JSON.
- Experience with NoSQL or SQL databases
- Programming experience in Java, Python, or Go is a plus.
- Strong analytical capabilities; Excellent communication skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
