COORDINATOR, AUTOMOTIVE & LIFESTYLE/CPG

As the Coordinator for our Automotive & Lifestyle/CPG team, you will be an integral part of this dynamic and high-achieving team. You will be extremely well-organized, have a strong sense of time management and are able to juggle multiple projects at a time to meet deadlines. This position will have access and visibility to senior client team and agency leadership.
Requirements
DAY-TO-DAY MANAGEMENT:
- Research media contacts and build media lists.
- Monitor and analyze client and industry coverage to identify trends and insights to develop creative angles for proactive pitches to take the media.
- Write and distribute media pitches.
- Coordinate media interviews.
- Remain knowledgeable and up to date on all client deliveries.
- Work with senior account leaders to manage client timelines and all team deliverables.
- Attend team meetings and complete necessary follow-up to ensure next steps.
- Provide administrative support to Automotive & lifestyle/CPG team and other agency staff, such as capturing meeting notes and action items.
- Work with team to manage and support all product activity including but not limited to; send outs, storage room cataloging, inventory, etc.
- Assist the team with monitoring and reporting on press coverage, events, promotions, etc., across clients.
- On-the-ground support for agency and client events.
- Manage and coordinate ongoing admin projects. For example, but not limited to - master contact sheet, award coordination and organization, relevant calendar reminders, etc.
- Ability to move boxes weighing up to 25 pounds across the office for various needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or related field, preferable but not required
- Full time or internship experience at a PR Agency or in-house ideal
· Natural curiosity to learn more about our clients, their industries, and how they’re driving innovation forward
- Inquisitive about automotive/lifestyle media & industry trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Problem solving and solution oriented with a proactive attitude
- Professionally and effectively liaise with internal and external contacts
- Exceptional at keeping things organized, able to multi-task and juggle priorities
- Strong time management skills
Location: This role is based in our Brooklyn, NY office on a hybrid basis. We are seeking candidates who wish to work a hybrid schedule of WFH and a minimum of two days required per week in the NYC offices/in-person.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $40,000- $42,000. Actual compensation is based on a range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
Where a prospective employee will be paid within the compensation range listed above will depend on a number of factors including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience and qualifications, the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations, and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based.
