KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs day-to-day activities including food preparation, taking orders, and utility functions
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by ensuring that all food safety, food handling, temperature and OSHA standards are met
- Opens and closes the kitchen properly while following the opening and closing checklists for kitchen stations. Assist others in opening and closing the kitchen
- Perform food prep as needed by the days' business levels to include chopping, dicing, grilling, carving and assist on plate-up for large functions
- Follow kitchen cleaning list to ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Functions as a supportive team member during the course of the shift
- Effective and positive communication with front of the house staff
- Other duties and responsibilities as may be designated

Knowledge on safely operating commercial kitchen equipment
Physical Demands: Bending, twisting, standing and walking for longer periods of time. Carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in elevated temperatures and safe operation of commercial cooking equipment
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends and have flexible schedule
