**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Golf Snack Bar Attendant at our esteemed private golf club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Snack Bar, including cooking, customer service, and point-of-sale transactions. This role requires a passion for providing exceptional service, culinary skills, and experience in handling point-of-sale systems.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook a variety of snacks, sandwiches, and light meals according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Always ensure food safety and cleanliness in the Snack Bar kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Greet and assist members in a friendly and professional manner, taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions and handle cash, credit cards, and member accounts with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Keep the Snack Bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
- Collaborate with other staff members and the main kitchen to provide excellent customer service and ensure the Snack Bar operates smoothly.
- Assist in special events or tournaments hosted at the golf club, including catering services and beverage cart operations as needed.
- Handle any customer inquiries, complaints, or feedback promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the member’s satisfaction.
- Follow club policies and procedures, including dress code, grooming standards, and operational guidelines.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in food service, preferably in a Snack Bar, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in cooking and food preparation techniques, with knowledge of safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff.
- Experience operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Ability to operate a golf cart for transportation between the clubhouse and Snack Bar.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by the golf club's schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or hospitality certification is a plus.
-Must be 21 years old.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the Snack Bar area for extended periods.
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Work in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment, safely handling kitchen equipment and utensils.
