Job Summary:

The Performance Marketing Manager will lead the execution and effectiveness of Nordic Naturals’ paid digital marketing activities with a focus on customer awareness and acquisition. In partnership with our external media agency, the right candidate will translate brand marketing and communication strategies into digital media plans and investments via Search & Programmatic. This role will drive the cross-functional priorities and activities, working hand in hand with the Campaign, Sales and Creative teams. The ideal person is agile, proactive, has an ownership mindset, and will bring new thinking and ideas to improve media performance. 75% of time will be focused on Amazon Marketplaces Media and 25% of the time will be focused on DTC Search Media.


Location Statement:

This is a remote position for those who live outside of 40 miles from Nordic Naturals headquarters in Watsonville, CA. Our culture is very important to us and for team members who live inside of the 40 mile radius we expect them to be onsite 3 days a week to help support our collaborative community.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Main point of contact for digital media agency; allocate budgets, manage spend and recommend modifications to ad strategy and spend as needed.

  • Develop strategy and provide paid media recommendations across Google and Amazon (programmatic, search, display, online video etc.)

  • Dig into campaign data, extract insights and transform them into actionable recommendations that will drive channel optimization and accelerate performance.

  • Understand new and relevant KPI metric requirements for performance management and optimization purposes.

  • Drive brand and product campaigns from planning to execution; write creative briefs, manage content development & implementation.

  • Share out reporting on media and Amazon sales performance. Ensure accurate data across media partners and internal sources.

  • Collaborate with DTC and Amazon counterparts on a regular basis to ensure initiatives are executed upon

  • Manage one direct report, responsible for ASIN catalog and brand content on Amazon


Position Qualifications:

  • Google Suite proficiency

  • Expert with media performance metrics and reporting (TACOS, ROAS, CPC, ROI etc)

  • Hands on experience with GA4, Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Clearcut or Stackline and DOMO or similar

  • Experience with media budget management

  • Familiarity with project management tools (Monday.com, Smartsheet etc)

  • Well versed in and able to stay on top of current on evolving media trends and technology

  • Minimum of 3 years of digital media experience including 1 year of Amazon experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field


Key Contributions in First Year:

  • Drive efficiency in media spend across Google & Bing Search and Amazon Search/DSP

  • Grow Amazon sales by driving performance via paid media

  • Expand DTC media to drive more traffic to Nordic.com

  • Implement strategy to update brand assets across Amazon


Pay, Benefits & Perks:

The estimated annual pay for this role is $95,000 to $110,000. This pay is an estimate and the exact compensation may vary depending on an applicant's location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may also include incentive compensation (i.e. bonus or commission) if applicable.
