About the team and the role:
We are looking for a Business Analytics professional to join our US Business Performance team! In this role you will work on the short range and the long-range forecasts for GMV, Funnel, Checkout Revenue and Active Buyer and Sellers for eBay US business. This role works closely with US leadership directly on a weekly basis to report and review the business health of eBay largest region. The role will own weekly & monthly cadences and reporting packages. This role will collaborate with multiple teams including Corp, Global Markets finance team and US focused categories and marketing teams to align the business story and forecast!
What you will accomplish:
- Drive Weekly Business Reviews and reporting that provide insights to US leadership team
- Drive weekly & monthly cadences and reporting packages which includes the monthly forecast cycles
- Lead in budgeting and planning of GMV and checkout revenue and other important metrics that drive eBay business
- Identify, extract, and analyze relevant information from multiple data sources while applying not only internal knowledge but also macro factors that impact eBay business
- Work with business partners to scope analysis to answer key business questions – challenge their thinking and become a trusted business partner
- Continuously measure and interpret the impact of Marketing initiatives & experiments and share the findings to a non-technical audience
What you will bring:
- Experience and comfort with large data sets and strong data analytics skills
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to simplify and present to executives and communicate with management teams
- Knowledge of ecommerce and market landscape
- Deep passion for understanding drivers.
- Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$144,000 - $216,150Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
