Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the payroll department in executing daily operations efficiently.
- Conduct audits of the time and attendance system to ensure integrity and accuracy.
- Verify proper approval for timecards and validate all recorded working hours.
- Process garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, quarterly tax verifications, and worker compensation reports.
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned to aid the payroll department.
- Gather, verify, and maintain organizational payroll data.
- Reconcile payroll-related general ledger entries and generate reports or statements summarizing payroll-related accounts.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in payroll administration.
- Proficiency in working with Payroll Systems; familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce and Kronos is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll procedures.
- An Associate's Degree or Diploma in Business with a focus on payroll-related fields, or equivalent education and experience, is preferred.
- Basic understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including attentive listening and critical reading abilities.
