Payroll Specialist

This role is responsible for processing Payrolls. In addition, this person will provide administrative support to the Finance Group in a variety of areas including organization of documentation and electronic and physical file management.

The Payroll Specialist will be part of the office support team and provide clerical support across the organization as required. This person is expected to work well in a team environment and deliver high quality work product.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Payroll

• Run Daily hours of employees
• Submit Payrolls on corresponding dates
• Must be able to communicate with all department managers
• Balance Payrolls in system by G/L
• Maintain employee files
• Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of applicable work experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Proficient in MS Word
• Well-rounded with an ability to solve problems creatively.
• Takes initiative.
• Excellent listening skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
• Honesty, integrity, and a strong desire to succeed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
