Payroll Coordinator / Bookkeeper

Big Dog Ranch Rescue is now hiring! Join our mission in saving the lives of dogs at the nation's largest cage-free, no-kill dog rescue. Big Dog Ranch Rescue (BDRR) is a one-of-a-kind dog rescue facility located in Loxahatchee Groves, Florida. BDRR also has a location in Shorter Alabama. BDRR is looking for a hands-on Payroll Coordinator/bookkeeper. Must be computer proficient. This position requires the use of excel and quickbooks. The Big Dog Ranch is a fast paced environment.

Duties will include:

• Payroll preparation (ADP) collaborating with staffing coordinator
• Accounts Payable Processing
• Experience working with Excel
• Various Data-entry
• Credit Card expense tracking
• Quickbooks Experience
• Daily Deposits
• Must be Dog Friendly
• Job cost tracking
• Filing and organizing invoices
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Willing and able to learn various computer programs)
• Data Entry Skills and the use of 10-Key preferred
• Wages vary with experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and see. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, as well as repetitive typing and long spans of time in front of a computer screen. BDRR offers employer contribution towards personal health care after 90 days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
