Payroll Assistant

Direct Protection Security Inc Authorized ADT Dealer is an alarm company seeking a full-time Payroll assistant to join our team! The position is responsible for entering payroll data, processing new hire paperwork, and making changes related to tax withholding and employee benefits. We are the nation’s top dealer and have been in business for over 20 years. We thrive to gain customers satisfaction and confidence in their family’s safety. 
Responsibilities:

·         Process bi-weekly payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner.

·         Calculate wages, deductions, commissions, bonuses, and other payroll-related payments.

·         Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.

·         Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

·         Address inquiries from employees regarding payroll-related matters in a professional and timely manner.

·         Assist with payroll-related audits, including preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

·         Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and seamless integration with other systems.

·         Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and adhere to data protection policies.

Qualifications:

·         Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or related role.

·         Strong understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

·         Proficiency with payroll software (ADP) and Microsoft Excel.

·         Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

·         Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·         Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

·         Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

·         High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
