Shared Services – Payroll Analyst
Reports to: Director Shared Services/Accounting
Supervises: N/A
Department: Accounting/Finance
Pay Status: Full time; Exempt
Description of Position:
The Shared Services Payroll Analyst is responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for all associates. The role will be responsible for all aspects of payroll processing ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, local regulations and timely and accurate disbursement of payments to employees. The Payroll Analyst will operate with key performance metrics, data comparatives like variances and changes in payroll month over month. In off-payroll cycle times, the Payroll Analyst will support the shared services functions, primarily for AP.
Essential
Job Functions:
Payroll
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for all exempt, non-exempt, salary and hourly employees in the US.
- Prepare and process all other payrolls including bonus & commissions, terminations and severances, and other ad hoc payments.
- Monitor key performance indicators, changes in benefits and salary and escalate anything unusual or large to leadership
- Ad-hoc requests email inbox inquiries
- Assist in accounts payable operation as needed
- Assist in audits and process improvements
- Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Accounts Payable and Other
- Process AP invoices
- Calculate and report KPI indicators as assigned
- Reconcile vendor statements to AP subledger as assigned
- Ad hoc reports and analysis for upper management as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned or required including assisting with in other shared services payment duties

Qualifications:
- Minimum education Associates Degree and / or 3+ years work experience in payroll processing
- Prior payroll experience preferred, with an understanding of payroll rules & regulations
- Working system knowledge of UKG is a plus
- Working system knowledge of NetSuite is a plus
- Ability to use a Microsoft Excel is a requirement, including ability to function with a 10-key
