We are in need of an International Payroll Analyst with an auditor's approach to ensure the accurate processing of our global payroll in North America, Asia and Europe. This requires a thorough understanding of international payroll regulations, laws and processes. Key responsibilities include processing data and maintaining records through WorkDay, auditing all systems and processes, filing all employee and employer federal, state and local taxes, calculating commission payments, off-cycle check running and adhering to company policies across global offices for 1,000+ employees.
Responsibilities
Use an auditing approach to oversee the data of the global payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of domestic and international payroll by (but not limited to):
- Processing international payroll for 1000+ employees and expatriates
- Communicating and coordinating with internal payroll professionals both domestic and international
- Coordinating with HR and Benefits for employee changes
- Auditing all systems and processes
- End of month and end of year reporting and reconciliation
- Preparing and validating all journal entries for the company general ledger
Ensure compliance with company policies for all worldwide offices (North America, Asia and Europe) related to PTO, annual leave, commission policies, termination pay, etc.
Ensure timely and accurate filings of all employee and employer federal, state and local taxes (including unemployment taxes)
Ensure the accuracy of all payroll and commission calculations and payments
Analyze root cause of issues, calculate and confirm off-cycle checks, and provide supporting remediation to the issue as needed
Present senior leadership with thorough reports and recommendations to ensure the company is prepared for external audits
Organize quarterly and annual audits
Respond to all government inquires
Manage relationships with all external vendors
Required:
- Seven years of experience in payroll with strong auditing and accounting skills
- At least three years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Must have multi-state experience
- International experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Extensive Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations/laws
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations

Pay: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
