System One is seeking a Payroll Tax Analyst in San Antonio Tx.
Responsibilities: (80%) Domestic Payroll Tax & Regulatory Compliance Prepare, reconcile, fund, and maintain records of weekly and quarterly tax deposits.
Manage wage adjustments and file W2C, UI, or 941 Amendments as necessary.
Co-Lead year end payroll project & deliverables.
Ensure tax processes are consistent and in compliant with legal requirement and company policies.
Update Accounting on any changes affecting the accrual of Payroll Taxes and resolve related issues.
Lead Tax Updates & routine maintenance.
Co-Lead Quarter End and Year End reporting processes including W2s, tax filings, reporting and reconciliation of Payroll Taxes with our external 3rd party tax vendor and various agencies.
Create and maintain reports, queries and conduct audits to ensure data integrity and controls.
Manage team member tax data setup in Cyborg & respond to team member issues.
Lead all projects related to Payroll Tax compliance.
Co-Manage Payroll Tax Vendor/ ADP/ Agency Notices Other Duties as Assigned.
(20%) International Payroll Processing & Tax Compliance Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of foreign payroll & tax liabilities.
Assist Global Mobility & Corporate Tax in all payroll matters.
Review agreements and requisitions to determine potential tax and payroll liabilities.
Owns vendor relationships to drive foreign national payroll processing and ensures accountability.
Co- Lead Expat payroll, including HYPO tax management, recording allowance changes in PS, and capturing equity payments through payroll.
Assists with implementation of new payroll vendors in all new international markets.
Remits as necessary any tax payments as instructed by E&Y or international payroll vendors.
Maintains E&Y relationship and implements any necessary adjustments to expatriate payroll.
Co-Leads all Foreign periodic & year-end tax filing processing and responds to inquiries.
Responsible for communication between Treasury department to ensure timely wire transfers.
Keeps Sr. Payroll Manager and Global Mobility informed and provides deliverables.
Co-Leads process improvement efforts to maximize efficiency and accuracy of payroll data.
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business or Accounting, or 5 years of Payroll Tax experience required.
Must be able to work on-site daily.
Certified Payroll Professional American Payroll Association preferred or seeking CPP or FCP certification with the 1st year of employment.
5 years of experience with the Payroll Tax function required.
Experience working with many different vendors.
Knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and principles.

Preferred Requirements: What is an added plus-
Masters or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
4-7 years knowledge of 3rd Party Expatriate Payroll Management preferred ADP Tax Compliance and/or Oracle software knowledge.
Excellent attention to detail, organization and communication skills.
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills General knowledge of, or experience working in, the Industrial Construction industry.
