Payroll Administrator

Note: This is a short term contract and 3 day hybrid role

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support the payroll department in executing daily operations efficiently.
• Conduct audits of the time and attendance system to ensure integrity and accuracy.
• Verify proper approval for timecards and validate all recorded working hours.
• Process garnishments, child support orders, tax levies, quarterly tax verifications, and worker compensation reports.
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned to aid the payroll department.
• Gather, verify, and maintain organizational payroll data.
• Reconcile payroll-related general ledger entries and generate reports or statements summarizing payroll-related accounts.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in payroll administration.
• Proficiency in working with Payroll Systems; familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce and Kronos is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll procedures.
• An Associate's Degree or Diploma in Business with a focus on payroll-related fields, or equivalent education and experience, is preferred.
• Basic understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including attentive listening and critical reading abilities.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
