We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator who will support our U.S. payroll operations. In this role, you will provide payroll administration for 1000 employees in multiple-states - primarily in California and Arizona. You will audit and enter payroll for both weekly and biweekly payrolls as well as enter new hire data into our SAP based system. You will partner with the payroll manager to also revamp and review payroll processes as well.
About the Job:
- Run full-cycle weekly CA payroll, processing hours and corrections.
- Setup and maintain state jurisdictions related to state taxes and unemployment tax rates.
- Set up new hire timecard profiles and assist with registration process
- Prepare and return wage verification and employment verification for several different agencies
- Reconcile reports/data entry made by Human Resources/Payroll.
- Answer payroll related inquiries from employees.
- Process data from eTime to Payroll Calculations, submitting payments, tax files and garnishment files to vendor for processing.
- Various Payroll Reports and validation audits
What you Need:
- High school diploma (with a college degree and/or Certified Payroll Professional cert preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in multi-state payroll.
- Experience with using electronic timekeeping payroll software - preferable SAP, Workday, or ADP products.
- Microsoft Office experience with a focus on Excel at an intermediate or higher level.
- Comfort working in a time sensitive and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SAP, eTime, and report writing is preferred.
