Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented part-time Bookkeeper to join our growing team. As a part-time Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks for our clients. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Must be comfortable providing services to state legal cannabis businesses.

Duties:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software

- Prepare and process journal entries

- Perform account analysis and reconciliations

- Process payroll and ensure timely payment of employee wages

- Assist with bank reconciliations

- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting

- Provide support during audits or tax filings

- Stay updated on changes in governmental accounting regulations

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
