Ideally, we are seeking a candidate who matches our enthusiasm and attention to detail with strong organizational, decision-making, and time management skills. This person should have a working knowledge of GAAP standards and principles and would be responsible for managing the books and records for multiple clients with a focus on reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Enter transactions into accounting system
Record payroll entries
Manage accounts receivable & accounts payable journals
Process bill payments
Complete bank reconciliations
Review and analyze balance sheets and income statements
Prepare financial reporting packages
Prepare annual package for tax filing
Qualifications:
Attention to detail
Strong quantitative skills
Organized and Responsible
Ability to manage multiple projects
Adept at analyzing data
Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Online
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Strong decision-making skills
Working knowledge of GAAP standards and principles
Some experience/knowledge of Bill.com and Accounts Payable preferred
Education and Experience Requirements:
Post-secondary education in accounting, finance or related field preferred
Minimum 3-5 years bookkeeping experience
