We are looking for a Bookkeeper responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Responsible for a minimum of 25 clients to start.
- Maintaining the client's books from beginning to end in a monthly cycle.
- Data entry of monthly transactions for small and medium-sized businesses, both digitally and manually in multiple different accounting softwares.
- Monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, loans, credit card, production, and analysis of financial reports.
- Filing monthly/quarterly/annual sales tax in CA.
- Completing large project bookkeeping.
- Processing payroll.
- Processing worker's comp audits and general liability insurance audits.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping setting with multiple clients over multiple different industries
- Certified in QBO Advanced and QB Desktop or 3-5 years of experience using both QBO and QBD, (other software certifications a plus, but not required).
- Experience processing payroll with multiple providers, as well as processing and reconciling quarterly and annual payroll tax returns and processing W2's/W3's.
- Experience in processing and uploading 1099's through IRS fire system.
- Experience using other accounting software is a plus, but not required (Sage 100, Money Works, Yardi, Xero, Zoho, Wave, etc.).
- Minimum of 3 accounting courses required (Accounting 101, Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting).
- Experience in Financial Analysis including reviewing, posting, sending, and analyzing monthly/quarterly/yearly financials with clients.
