Part Time Administrative Assistant

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years in a behavioral health setting and will have developed skills to:

· Support the Behavioral Health Manager in tasks associated with the smooth running of the department;

· Understand the confidential nature of the work and be respectful of that at all times;

· Place phone calls to patients who have been approved for care to schedule appointments and explain what they should expect of the organization and will be expected of them including their insurance and financial obligations;

· Check in patients, collect copayments, utilize the patient confirmation text messaging system and other support functions as required;

· Remain calm, professional and supportive at all times;

· Respond to questions with clear and brief responses;

· Support provider requests approved by the Behavioral Health Manager;

· Be reliable and flexible;

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
